Track 1a suitable for small children, 1b for adults

As you see, the activity which comes first is suitable for families with small children.

The task is to make a giant floor picture, gathering items and laying down to build a gradual understanding of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases.

The words to learn from are composed in short rhymes to meet the national reading challenge, Summer 2026.. Mrs Beat says, performance with small percussion instruments will be encouraged, for ‘Beat Competency!’

Even though clearly planned to be engaging for children, this is not a babyish or dummed-down experience, so most adults (unless they are professors of climate change!) will find quite a bit that they’ve never heard about.

Track 1b for Grown Ups at Ashtorre Centre, Saltash

We are grateful to the founders and volunteers at this wonderful community centre, for their warm welcome and collaboration. It’s a perfect place to experience the courage and vision of Brunel and his fellow1800s engineers.

Activity 1b studies the ‘Driving Force’ that led to the Ever so Great and Grand structure of the Royal Albert Bridge, but then quickly progresses to be more reflective about new engineering and infrastructure being planned today, for a greener future.

Ask at the bar, pay your hire fee and borrow 7 bags full of fascinating debating points and history facts, to complete your study and grasp that Ever so Great is not the whole story. ESG should be a recipe for better outcomes, that can balance conflicting interests and minimise harm to people and environment.
